Protaurius

Protaurius AB develops, produces and offers bulletproofing products and concepts for personnel, buildings and installations around the world. The key to our operations consists of the patented technology that is marketed under the Soft Armour name. It offers projectile protection against small caliber, amour-piercing ammunition.

Our primary customers are military, police and non-governmental organizations (NGO´s) that work in hostile environments where personnel, buildings, or installations are at risk of attack. Some private businesses and government organizations are customers as well.

Protaurius is a private, Swedish owned company co-owned by Chalmers Industriteknik, Chalmers Innovation, SAAB AB, private investors and the company’s leadership. The head office is in Gothenburg, while the manufacturing, testing facility and warehouse are in Karlsborg.
